Created as portfolio sample. One of my strengths is the ability to digitally illustrate photorealistically, so that the illustration is seamless with the photo. The eyelashes, fingernails, and fuller lips are examples of photorealistic illustration.

Garment Retouch
I needed a stock photo for a spread in a magazine geared toward Christian teens. I was designing the spread as a design test for United Methodist Publishing House. I selected the photo on the left, but I wanted a shirt with sleeves. I removed the seam from the shirt front, then illustrated the sleeves.

Group Photo Retouch
I created this retouch as a demo. First I swapped out the frowning face and the flexed arm, replacing with a relaxed looking pose from another photo. I removed the strand of hair from the face and cloned out the fake tattoo. I changed the shirt to red, to add more color to the picture. I darkened the blue jeans for more contrast. Then I brightened the overall photo.
