The International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR) is a globally roaming symposium about augmented reality. The tenth issue took place from the 26th to the 29th of October 2011 at the Congress Center Basel, Switzerland. For this purpose we developed a corporate design that meets the requirements for both the technical and creative aspects of the topic but also represents the host nation Switzerland. With the design concept we use known representations from the early era of the computer boom. With this reduction we work in a digitally appealing manner with Swiss stereotypes.

Die ISMAR (International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality) ist eine über die Kontinente wandernde Fachkonferenz zum Thema Augmented Reality. Die zehnte Fachkonferenz fand vom 26. – 29. Oktober 2011 im Congress Center Basel, Schweiz statt. Hierfür entwickelten wir ein Corporate Design, das sowohl den technischen und gestalterischen Aspekten des Themas gerecht wird, als auch das Gastgeberland Schweiz repräsentiert. Mit dem Gestaltungskonzept des Entwurfs bedienen wir uns bekannter Darstellungstechniken aus der Anfangszeit des PC-Booms. So wird reduziert und auf eine digital anmutende Weise mit Schweizer Stereotypen gearbeitet.
