Exploration 3 : Structural stability is reinforced by provision of butress supports for the backrest that transfer load to the chair base so that the chair does not topple when the user leans backwards.
Initial models and explorations resulted in interesting aesthtic quality for the chair sub structure but bending bamboo is not the best production detail after all. Especially if we are in the pursuit of a cheap, mass production friendly and light weight chair .
The ABS bucket can be created in different colors to enhance the visual quality and increase its appeal amongst the young and mobile , urban nomads.
