As part of an inner personal compulsion I began photographing people in different areas of the city of Athens such as Exarchia, Koukaki, Tauros. In these familiar to me areas, I move around daily photographing with a flash and in essence revealing or often discovering the people within a square, close-fitting frame, equivalent of our era. Portraits of friends, acquaintances or strangers but in some way people from different parts and pieces of my life such as workshops, theatres, bars and streets that have become close to me and very important to be photographed. In an effort to speak about them I have realised that I should probably not say much. Most likely they would say more about me than me speaking about them…..
