BBC FIRST: Network ID and Packaging

The creatives at Trollbäck + Company enlisted Cinematographer / VFX Technical Director Christopher Webb to help develop and execute in-camera visual effects for the new on-air look of BBC FIRST.

Working at Chris's studio in Brooklyn, the team built moving optical mechanics and custom ground glass projection rigs. All effects were originated in-camera with the BBC FIRST logo rendered in etched glass. Super-slow motion elements were also shot in-studio.
