The Visual Innovation Studio at FOX collaborated with Christopher Webb at FX WRX to create titles and show packaging for their series ACCUSED.

First, live-action talent was captured in dynamic lighting with distinctive color palettes. That footage was then edited into short sequences. The edited sequences were then displayed on high resolution panels where they could be re-shot through moving pieces of optical glass and vertical refractors. Chris and his team constructed a one-of-a-kind large format optical FX camera which allowed the focal plane of the lens and sensor to be distorted in real time while recording.

These materials served as the jumping off point for the team at FOX. The photography and sequences below are in-camera originals. The finished on-air promo is a blend of in-camera VFX and digital artistry.
