Nawrocki Imports is a wine importing company based in Pennsylvania who imports wines that no other company is importing in the region. I was approached by Nawrocki Imports to re-design their website, establish their online identity and to add a shopping cart and ordering functionality. Since there are obvious legality issues with ordering alcohol online, orders are placed and sent to the team for verification. There were certain requirements that I needed to include which posed challenges, however I was able to overcome them and come up with a site that both the client and I were proud to have. 

 

Some of the features that I included in the site were a responsive design for mobile browsing, a featured section to showcase seasonal wines, a shopping and product heirarchy for simple browsing, a price slider to narrow down wines to a certain price range, a "reviews" section for each wine, and custom taxonomies for the client's needed information depending on each wine. As you'll see below, the client wanted to streamline the process for potential customers to find the wines they were looking for. Once you visit the shop, you can pick from the 3 countries which they import from. Once you select your country, you can then select your winery which then shows you all of the wines which are available from that winery. Once you're off of the homepage, there's also a dropdown menu for you to see specific wineries and the wines that they offer. The whole design and layout was created to make it incredibly simple for customers to find what they're looking for.
