Inspired by an Irving Penn’s project, Italian Small Trades is a series of business cards designed for those traditional professionals that don’t feel the need to invest in a sophisticated visual identity but still look for nice ways to visually promote their business.
One of the key credentials for these professionals is the way they look and act. And that’s what this project intends to reinforce in a visual way.
Starting with Ivo (my dentist), Elena (the doctor) and continuing with Beatrice (the tour guide) I developed a basic template composed by a minimal ‘icon style’ portrait and text fields for name, surname and promotional informations.
The business cards are laser printed on 200g/m² Fedrigoni GSK semitransparent paper
