“Anatomy of War”
The “Anatomy of War” project includes ten works of authorship, united with the theme. Individual elements are represented as means of armed struggle – grenades, pistols, bombs, shops for ammunition, ammunition and others – reinterpreted in artistic form, using the symbol of war and death – a human skull.
A series of graphic works are designed to awaken the consciousness of the warring parties and to show bloody and horrific consequences, to which inevitably leads every military conflict.
Each sheet includes one or more elements. The obligatory element each image is one or more human skulls, located inside the ammunition, grenades, bombs, because human death and destruction is a direct result of each explosion and the main purpose of the weapon. The background image is mostly the color of rusty metal, the color of military equipment after heavy fighting.
Armed elements are treated realistically, often with the proportions, reminiscent of the technical weapons’ drawing in section. The compositions are stable, balanced with masses of depicted elements. Minimal use of colors is aimed at emotional impact on the viewer.
