The Future Memory of Golden Gate Park

Golden Gate Park is the third most visited park in the United States. It is over 1000 acres, where both San Franciscans love to hang around and visitor must visit for the attractions. The history of Golden Gate Park goes back to the 1860s. William Hammond Hall, the park designer, considered the park to be a place to enjoy nature without the trappings of the city, a place that did not include a lot of structures, particularly ones that did not contribute to the true park experience. Therefore there are many statues and monuments that are hidden.

To add more educational experience to the activities in Golden Gate Park, we designed an app based on the theme—The Future Memory of Golden Gate Park. It is a statue and monument hunting game. At each station, participants will be able to read more about the statue/ monument by matching the missing half. The image is going to automatically uploaded in to the cloud and there's also going to be a gallery for the participants to see the piece from different time, weather and seasons.
