Following our clients’ desire to use the name of the islands as pictorial, we designed a modern artistic language illustrating the names of Greek islands while including symbols inspired by prominent attractions of each island to the design.
The famous lighters for the summer season, beyond their original use, are also identified as accessories – souvenirs. Typographic illustrations, that are not revealed at first glance, but call the consumer to decode them, are mixed with symbols and famous local landscapes creating a pleasant item that both accompanies the traveler whilst on vacation and also can be a souvenir of the place he visited.
The purpose, beyond the obvious, was to create some images that have an autonomous artistic value expressing a fresh version of Greece thereby giving the brand a value indicating its willingness for innovation in design and continuous progress.
This solution created a clear identity and a toolbox of images that at a later stage can provide solutions across the whole communications spectrum of the product in various applications
