The objective of this project was to redo dust jackets for the iconic Harry Potter book series with a focus on typography rather than solely just icons from the series. Too many of the redesigns I have seen, strictly focused on the icons to tell the story from each book and relied on the iconic Harry Potter typeface to tell you what series it is. I wanted to design the covers so they resembled antique schoolbooks with a wizarding background to give them a more mature and timeless look.
