ACT As Cronicas Tiradentes

AS CRONICAS TIRADENTES
As Crônicas Tiradentes is an interactive platform that translates consumer behavior and cultural phenomenon into a digital and analog marketing series. It showcases users’ networks in context and illustrates new ways for users to connect with one another for expanding project’s outreach goals: to gather input and data for Rio de Janeiro’s larger economic development and cultural programming agenda.
 
 
Research: Social Network Analysis
Conducted rapid ethnographic analysis to extract cultural insights and behavioral trends, complimenting surveys and interviews, for a holistic understanding of how groups and individuals are affected by their peers, environment, history, and city-scape. Uncovered cultural motivations that trigger behaviors.
 
Storyboard Development
Created a comic storytelling strategy, grounded in the traditional literary form - the Cronica - to showcase information gathered during research. Character profiles were developed based off ethnographic research using the 24 hour cycle of user movements in Rio de Janeiro's historic downtown.
 
 
 
Brand Collateral + Packaging
Designed a brand identity that uses historic references alongside contemporary socio-economic activities to highlight the area’s assets and value for users’ economic and social needs.  
 
 
 
Digital Platform: Website & Social Media
Developed a digital platform to entice and educate audiences. Brand invites users to input new information and stories to expand the project’s data set, and compile new and fresh content for the storytelling and branding series.
