These paintings were my Fractal works included in my Ph.D. Dissertation. The paintings were my first experiment in fractal art, which was a new step for me after experimenting with digital art since about 2002. In this exhibition we find that my focus was somewhat on the technique rather than an overall idea. Nevertheless, we can still see a sense of abstraction that defined my previous non-digital works. You can say that I found in fractal art a natural step forward in my career as an artist.

The works were well received by my professors, who regarded them as revolutionary and me as a pioneer of the field of digital art since my MFA at 2005, as I was the first to choose such a topic for research at that time. My dissertation was about "Contemporary Fractal and New Media Digital Arts" 2009.
