Restorative film is a project in between art and science, a new and innovative approach to enhance the quality of life
for patients and employees in medical facilities. The projects purpose is to convey the feeling of nature in places where it's absence is palpable, giving people a window into the nature using sound and film that soothes and heals.

Restorative films also serve the purpose of preserving the representation of our nature as it is today for a future that could possibly miss it. Restorative Film also serves as a time capsule that accurately reflects what it's like to be be in locations outside cities.

We wanted Restorative film to be perceived as a serious and scientifically based projects so investors and individuals in decision making positions would be attracted to participate. It had to reflect the clean and uncomplicated tone perceived
in the films.

Inspiration for the design was a combination of archival and pharmaceutical in a minimalistic manner. I used scrubs turquoise and warning orange as main colours as I wanted them to signal health-care and to make a contrast to the natural colours of the films. Naturally I used stills from the films as discreet backgrounds.
