Burning Man 2011
I have a hard time explaining my burning man experience when I'm asked to. Even through images i have a hard time explaining it as a whole. My mind was blown. To experience Burning Man during the day was different from the experience at night. This is my effort to try and explain through images and very little text.
The desert seemed endless at night and the stars were very well seen.

The temple was a way to take a break from the craziness outside. Here, you could only hear people whispering, a large wind chime blowing in the wind, or sometimes a few people chanting. It was a very spiritual place. People said good bye to loved ones, wrote regrets they wish they did not have, wrote to a loved one who may be sick. Notes, pictures, and items covered the walls, ready to be burned on the last night of burning man.
"There was a beautiful temple where you could leave memorials or notes of forgiveness. In the party atmosphere of Burning Man, the temple was nearly silent except for chiming bells. I thought Terri would be happy there. The entire temple was burned on Sunday night. Other burns were jubilant. This one was silent." -Denise

The octopus mutant car was NOT just cool during the day. At night, it shot out fire, making its cool points go up. A lot of the cars at night, did something fascinating. Day time burning man was a totally different experience from night time burning man. Once again, its hard to explain.
And they burned the man.
Some people just don't want to get dusty out in that dust.
And they burned down the temple as well.
