Internet and the right to be forgotten

In 2014, the Court of Justice of the European Union gave a ruling, that every citizen has the right to apply for disconnection specific Google search results of its name. However, information must first be classified as inappropriate, (now) irrelevant, inadequate in relation to the purposes for which they are processed, or because of the passage of time.

According to the ruling, it started to talk even about the "right to be forgotten".

A single court decision, even if it's only European's range, may be the first step on the road to change - not even much as the Internet itself, as our understanding of what the network really is.

Internet cannot be controlled

About how to protect your privacy in the Internet, if Google may forget us and if politicians have the same rights as teenagers, says Lidia Kołucka-Żuk in an interview with Łukasz Pawłowski.

Newsagent against the Court. Google and the right to be forgotten

Did in your life happen lately something important? Definitely, even if you do not know about it. For several months in your browser, there is a new option: the right to be forgotten. Where it comes from and how to use it?

About what information we leave in the network, how to take care of your own privacy, says internet-sociologist Dominik Batorski in an interview with Blazej Popławski.

To control the information in the Network, first you must understand their nature. Virtual reality is forming by algorithms. Not we, but those algorithms decide, which content we see and which content is not available to us.

I'll never forget you

Google, Internet state in the country, created demand for oblivion by its efficient protocol for access to all  memories which world has accumulated on the servers. We wouldn't want to hide, if it wasn't so easy to find us.

We gave our memory up to servers which replicate endlessly all of our memories. Our experiences and sensations are now living independently from us.
