This is my short essay in the form of a booklet about why "Suriname art" should be more appreciated and why I think that this genre of art should be in the Dutch art history books. In the book I explain the why, how and show different Suriname art pieces. This project was part of an assignment for research and discource at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. hope you enjoy.
