Chris Hadfield is a former astronaut and Canadian icon that brought the wonders of space to millions worldwide through his engaging personality and creative use of social media. While Chris is most well known for his accomplishments in space, he has also established himself as a talented musician, New York Times bestselling author, engaging speaker, and a down-to-earth, proud Canadian.
Zync was tasked with designing and developing a responsive website that would act as a great place for fans to engage with Chris, as well as, a place to purchase his books, music, merchandise, and book him for speaking and celebrity appearances.
We established a creative design that works with Chris’s personality and is user friendly across all devices. It was important to represent Chris the astronaut, while also exhibiting his relatable persona and various other talents and interests. We worked with the Hadfield marketing team to make sure that visitors to the site could immerse themselves in entertaining content from both space and Earth. This includes music, fan features, photos and videos, and miscellaneous facts about Chris’s life and career.
