There are few cities in the world that leave a mark on you as Paris does. Plenty of people might say it‘s the most beautiful city in the world. During a visit with my wife around new years eve 2009/2010 I found this night scenes that caught my attention.
I tried to take a different approach to Paris as motive by using abstraction as my instrument of choice. The somehow isolated night scene sparkles with urbanity, leaving a feeling of timelessness. From looking at the photo you can‘t tell if it‘s 1960 or 2009.
I come back to these shots very often because it it was a great time and I love the look and feel of this series.
