There is only one word to describe the launch of Issue 1 of NEOPRIME Contemporary Fine Art Photography: incredible! Even though we deeply believed in our vision, we were completely overwhelmed by the positive feedback from all around the globe. Since it was our very first magazine launch, we initially printed only 50 of the 250 magazines for the first days to see how big interest was.
After only 70 minutes, we sold all 50 copies! We couldn’t believe our eyes when we received all the orders and 10 days later we had sold out all 250 limited copies to readers from all corners of the world. We shipped the magazine to the United States, England, Canada, Brazil, Sweden, China, Japan, Australia and even Jordan, United Arab Emirates and Oman, to name a few. We couldn’t stop smiling when we saw all the amazing feedback on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Since Issue 1 sold out so fast and we still receive many requests, we decided to increase this edition to 500 limited copies.
While for Issue 1 we searched worldwide for the best photographers, we started accepting submissions for this second issue. In the last two months we’ve received thousands of applications from all around the globe. Although we would love to feature everyone in the magazine, we have to distill the essence. What you are about to experience is the 0.1% of the very best we’ve received and approached. We admit that it’s a highly challenging task to curate the world’s best photography, but it is our passion and we poured all our heart and soul into this magazine to offer you exactly that. As complex as it is to select the best of the best for you, we have one very distinct quality standard: If a photographer is able to combine technical excellence with their eye, heart and soul into an exceptional photograph, it simply belongs in NEOPRIME Contemporary Fine Art Photography.
Issue 2 will let you explore visual worlds you’ve probably never seen before. From pulsating street scenes in Japan, to mesmerizing coasts in São Paulo, to the highly surreal markets of Cambodia. No matter how different all these golden moments are, they are all united by a great sense of reduction, intensity and depth. In order to make it as interesting as possible, we searched for a great balance between striking colors as well as intense black and white tones. That way you’ll get the chance to experience the whole range of incredible fine art photography.
Our goal with this magazine is to show the world how awesome photography is and can be and thanks to you we are able to. We can’t wait to take this magazine to the next level with your support in 2016! We work day and night for this dream, however, we know one thing: Without you none of this would be possible and we are so blessed to have you as our reader. Thank you so much!
