We decide to intervene on the block located within the urban structure bordering the port, given its strategic location on the Island.
After a careful study of the area and existing buildings, plans and photographs by first and then "in situ", is chosen to forego building Enel and the adjacent buildings and preserve the historic Casa d'Ambra, discovering after a rare but interesting module inside the first building tested (5.30 X 5.30).
This pattern allows us to dominate the plot to intervene in it, and place the new buildings.
... The pre-existence clearly is introduced as part of this project material, but not a vocation of asset recovery, but as abstract elements that can be triggers generated projective logic. This change will be an abstract additions remapping concrete that will form an abstract pattern symbolically loaded, a new body on which underpin the practice of architecture.

In early attempts and approaches to the resulting plot is to create apublic space that encourages the flow and exchange visitors and inhabitants of the island, due to its strategic location the building has the vocation to be a personal exchange.
