Vector design for Apparel

Below is a recap of my workflow for this project. The final artwork is displayed first and then a series of work in progress images.

The final artwork is separated into 10 colors and output to film for silk screening purposes.

Here are four concept sketches for client review. As you probably guessed, the client chose the bottom right design.

Here are some of the individual art elements I created for this project. Most made it into the final comp.
All hand drawn artwork is scanned into Photoshop, cleaned up a bit, opened in Illustrator and live traced.
Once the art elements are vector, I begin composing the design.

Using the vector elements I created, the final layout begins to take shape.
