[ESP] Peñalara es la montaña más alta de la Sierra de Guadarrama (sierra perteneciente al Sistema Central) y de las provincias de Madrid y Segovia (España), con una altitud de 2428 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Es uno de los picos más emblemáticos e importantes de este sistema montañoso y su cima es el punto más alto del Parque Natural de Peñalara. La prominencia de Peñalara es de 1113 metros,1 cuyo punto mínimo es el puerto del Boquerón (1315 m de altitud y a 11 km al sureste de Ávila).
