CGSociety.com with The Foundry (producers of MODO, MARI, NUKE, etc.) organized a great challenge.
The contest's theme was time travel!
According to the description participants have a full knowledge about a new product called TIME, developed by The Foundry in the year 2055.
There were 3 categories:
- Product Design
- Print AD
- TV AD
I submitted my entry into the product design category, where the contestants had to create a comfortable to use, good looking product.
My idea was to mix some features, I always preferred products with multiple functions.
In my case I created a good looking, but regular lounge-chair basically. Using this chair and it's 3d projectors you can set time frames and different eras and look after events you'd like to know more. This would be a Wikipedia like description about historical events.
For example building the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Because I believe in easy-to-use products I didn't want to make difficult and ugly sci-fi sockets and plugs. Instead I found out that the whole device might work with magnetic resonance stimulating your brain and body allowing it to travel through TIME!
