ABOUT
Yahoo! Mail provides an integrated communications solution across Mail, Messenger and Mobile. I worked with the team on the re-design of Yahoo! Mail re-factoring code level changes allowing greater flexibility and scalability of the product for the large global audience. From initial wireframes to visual design explorations to later finer details with color palettes, co-branding, themes for personalization, iconography and creating documentation, I worked closely on each of these aspects with a cross-functional team within a tight timeline.

The re-design allowed integration of social  features such as Facebook chat integration, where a user can chat with their Facebook friends who are online from within Messenger in Mail.  The feature required confirmation of account link, proving valid error scenarios and a clear user flow proving clear context. I also had the opportunity to design this feature across the web and mobile experiences.
