Redesign of a travel pocket guide with personalised recommendations
Project background
When.In is a pocket guide full of personalised recommendations on places and events based on your location, interests, aggregated reviews and ratings from various platforms.

This was an experimental project to reimagine the experience of the current iPhone app for Snapp.

This was a short engagement, so I decided to focus the design work on making the app more relevant, more personal and more intuitive for the user.
New wireframes
Design outcome
– Improved the information architecture to allow the app to me more intuitive.

– Created a customisable search screen to allow users to access the content they want, quicker.
– Added an on-bording flow to help users understand how the app can help then, how to use it and get it more personalised and relevant on first use.

– Improved the UI design, specifically by enlarging tap areas, improving lablleing, less iconograghy, reducing content on each screen and more focus on location images. iPhone app
