Background
The Lords of Quake are a small community of PC gamers that wanted to update the design of their website to reflect the new game they where playing (Id Software's "Quake Live") and to make the website a more useful tool for sharing information about the game and events the group might be participating in.
Solution
The main focus of the redesign was to have the website be a more useful. To that end the website was designed to have directly link the user to the the game through a link at the upper right corner of the page. It also has information about the groups Ventrilo VOIP server as well as a panel to let users know who is in the channel without having to join the server. Additionally the website allows users to connect to the Lords of Quake mIRC chat channel through the website.
