Charity:water Visual Presentation

As a part of my Visual Presentation and Exhibition Design class, we were required to create a visual display for a brand with a strong graphic design presence. Passionate about non-profit organizations and its causes, I chose to work on the charity:water brand. With the suggestion of the professor, I redesigned its logo and created a visual display for its gala and other special events every year.
Although the current charity: water logo has its strong elements, it is restricted by several limitations. These limitations include its typeface, its use of the space in between its two words, and the typographic disconnect from its beloved symbol.

The yellow jerry can is used as the organization’s symbol as a reminder of the hardships of those who do not have access to clean, safe drinking water. Because this brand revolves its identity around this jerry can, I integrated some of its visual elements in the logo redesign. A san-serif typeface modernizes its logo as well as creating a more visually appealing logo.
As for its visual display, I used charity:water's beloved symbol; the yellow jerry can. Because this organization does not have a storefront, I created this mock-up for use at its gala and other special events every year. With its gasoline container as its visual element, I created a rotating structure that can be turned and adjusted for display in many different angles.
