Last Message bordgame
Illustration for Search-and-Find boardgame from Iello
I was invited to develop an illustration for one of the different search-and-find scenarios that are part of the Last Message boardgame, from french publisher Iello. I was given the opportunity to choose a theme I would like to draw for the game. As a sci-fi fan, I’ve chosen to draw a planet full of different alien races fighting for their territory.
In this game, players use the seek-and-find illustrations as boardgames and need to solve a mistery: one character, among hundreds of others, is the culprit of a crime. To help solve the crime, clues are drawn in a whiteboard, but the player who plays the culprit erases some of them. Players need to discover, based in the clues they still have available, who’s the culprit in the illustration.
Last Message was published in many countries, in more than 10 different languages: French, English, Czech, Greek, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Taiwanese, Arabic, Chinese, Hungarian, German, Italian, Polish, Ukrainian, Thai and Portuguese. It has been nominated to many prizes and achieved the 2022 UK Games Expo Best Party Game People's Choice Award
I’d like to thank the creative staff from Iello and specially Florent Baudry for the great art direction.
You can learn more about the game in Iello’s website.
