Take a Chill-Pill : Creative Graphics for Ice-Box

"Take a Chill Pill"
Creative Graphics for Ice Box
This project focuses on creating vintage-inspired graphics for an ice box, drawing inspiration from classic beverage poster aesthetics and incorporating iconic Pepsi Cola typography. The objective is to craft a visually striking and nostalgic graphic that perfectly complements the ice box's retro theme.

Initial Concepts
In the design phase, illustrations were carefully crafted to capture the vintage advertisement style, featuring iconic elements such as the bottle silhouette, Pepsi Cola typography, and bubbles. Extensive research into vintage taglines inspired impactful phrases that could enhance the overall design concept.

Further Explorations
The graphic design incorporated recurring elements of Pop art, including the "Boom Dialogue Box" and "Halftone Pattern," to enhance visual appeal. Extensive research was conducted to develop and create compelling content for the can graphic, ensuring alignment with the project's artistic direction and objectives.

Final Designs
After finalizing the designs, the next step involved creating print files for each graphic. Given the selected print process of "Screen Printing," the files needed to be meticulously separated by color, with windows created in the layers above to allow the base color to show through. Once the color separations were completed, the individual files were formatted and sent to the printer in EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) format for production.

This project was developed during my two-month summer internship with "Ek Do Dhai" under the mentorship of Mr. Sagar Jain (CEO &Founder, Ek Do Dhai) and has since become a featured product in their portfolio.
