This project was inspired by the Civilian Conservation Corps and to promote their lasting legacy. In planting nearly three billion trees, reducing a growing soil erosion problem and building structures in our state and national parks, they would allow Americans to enjoy the country’s natural resources for generations to come.
The two designs showcase the many aspects of the CCC's work and iconography. the colors were chosen to match the historical "Tree Army Green" and the "Work dungarees blue".
