Il mio progetto ha origine da due parole tra di loro contrapposte: caldo e freddo, su cui ho realizzato un moodboard.
Successivamente ho tradotto e trasferito le caratteristiche ed i significati di queste parole nei kirikami.
Il kirikami è un’antica arte tradizionale giapponese che deriva direttamente dall’origami, ma che prevede oltre al piegamento, il taglio della carta, infatti il nome deriva da kiri “tagliare” e komi, “carta”.
Il processo di realizzazione è molto semplice: prendete un cartonino A4, ritagliate un quadrato che abbia una cornice di 2 cm. Dopo aver fatto dei piccoli tagli dritti alle estremità della cornice, che serviranno per creare una sorta di base al vostro kirikami, potrete iniziare a dare sfogo alla vostra creatività, cercando di trasformare un semplice foglio piatto in un’opera tridimensionale, ricca di profondità e dettagli.

Later I translated and transferred the characteristics and meanings of these words into the kirikami. Kirikami is an ancient traditional Japanese art that derives directly from origami, but which involves

The process is very simple: take an A4 card, cut out a square that has a frame of 2 cm. After making small straight cuts at the ends of the frame, which will serve to create a sort of base for your kirikami, you can start giving vent to your creativity, trying to transform a simple flat sheet into a three-dimensional work, full of depth and details.
