The Bunun Tribe's Philosophy of "The most beautiful things are always hidden."
In the form of a vintage reproduction of a hymnal, it encapsulates the deep emotions, heavy memories, heartwarming stories, and longing for fathers. The cover samples the unique Bunun tribal calendar Islulusan, surrounded by pictorial symbols such as millet, wild boar, moon, and fields, forming a circular totem like the eight-part harmony formed by hand circles during traditional rituals.
Upon opening the first page, the vast Taitung Wuling tribe unfolds, where home, childhood, church life, and youthful years of splendor reside... Each song is accompanied by old photos and manuscripts. The musical scores of old poems are the favorites sung by everyone, and the scores also resemble visual melodies, with notes and usage traces from different heirs still remaining.
"We Bunun people tend to be more reserved, shy, introverted." says Biung, reflecting on Bunun tribal attire. The front is white, and the beautiful patterns are woven on the back. Based on thisconcept, all the pages are printed in black and white. At the end of the book, a hidden CD featuring the colorful Bunun totem scanned from Biung's tribal attire is included, along with a totem-woven bookmark rope, conveying the simple and warm cultural appearance of the Bunun people.

「華麗在背後」的布農族生命哲學
以仿舊復刻聖歌詩本的形式，將宏恩濃濃的情感、沈甸甸的回憶、溫暖的故事、對父親的思念，完整打包。封面取樣布農族獨有的板曆 Islulusan，以小米、山豬、月亮、田等象形符號圍繞成圓形圖騰，像是傳統祭典時手環手圍成一個圓圈的八部合音。
首頁翻開後是遼闊的台東武陵部落，那裡是宏恩的家、他的童年、教會生活與青春歲月⋯⋯每一首歌都搭配著珍貴的舊照片與創作手稿，舊詩歌的樂譜是大家最愛唱的那幾首，歌譜也像是視覺上的旋律，上頭也還留有不同傳承者的筆記與使用痕跡。
「我們布農族個性總是比較低調害羞內斂不善言語」王宏恩 Biung 這麼說，反映在布農族服飾上，正面以白色為底，背後才織上美麗花紋，基於此設計上以全書黑白圖文呈現，書後則隱藏一張掃描自宏恩族服的華麗布農圖騰 CD，再配上一條圖騰織帶書籤繩，傳達質樸而溫暖的布農文化樣貌。

書籍封面與首頁不貼合，使書頁翻閱時能夠完全攤平，確保隱藏在後的 CD 不會受到翻閱牽動，巧妙將「華麗在背後」的布農族生命哲學置入。
封面 - 皮紋紙裱貼厚卡精裝仿製詩歌本質感，再印以單色呈現使用過的痕跡感。
燙金 - 圖騰字樣預作斑駁設計處理，燙印時調整溫度讓金箔貼合的斑駁度更為自然。
做舊 - 少量多次輕拍逐次做出破舊粗糙感，邊角以木槌敲出鈍角。
內頁 - 十道工序來回作業。
織帶 - 搜尋與測試了好多樣式，找到最適切圖案。
