KLUDI organized an OPEN DAY for architects, interior architects and decorators in its renewed showroom at 20 Bartók Béla Road, 23 June 2006. KLUDI is such a presentational place that represents the current possibilities of interior design, and design communication at the same time, and sales is also included.
The interior and the pavement became a mutual installation building and showroom on that day. From 10 am students of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design’s Product Design Department were constructing their creative idea, an irrigation pipe-spatial composition without a break. Their work was the summing presentation of KLUDI-MOME workshop that dealt with design strategical questions. The view of the nearly 10 meter long, 2 meter high, vertically winding, opal irrigation pipe filled with water and the feeling of the water spraying from tiny holes transmitted multilayered message, and it gave inspiration to new ideas.

The stunning view of the large projected KLUDI image presentation, the soft music that raised awareness of the high, spatial space, the view of the glasses of champagne put on glass trays of 2×1 meter seduced the guests very easily into a desired relaxing bath life feeling. On the fire read sofa designed by Lisson located on the nearly 25m2 big bamboo stage, all of them were willing to experience and imagine their future relaxing place, where in space expanded by the mirror, the sink, the shower glass and the bathtub situated in the space transformed into furniture-like objects. The pierced, white, lace-like curved steel bar, the uniquely designed corian sink as well as the crazy, joyful, green-red plant sink, the innovation and the new, interesting materials suggested how we can live our personalities.
From 16 o’clock the presentation of the four groups of students participated in the workshop invited the guest to a special experience that they and the organizers, instructors and teachers had already had.
The concept of the interior also refers to the function of the creative studio as KLUDIdesign aims at working together with professionals, which means a mutual thinking as well, which convincingly supports the KLUDI team’s aim to participate in design-oriented investments.
