Tradition Embroidered by Cement – exhibition and workshop at defo labor
The basic idea of the exhibition was to make the audience active participants of the exhibition, we wanted them to be also creators, not just viewers. The visitors had a chance to play with the materials used in MOZA manufactory as well as it was possible for them to try the process of tile making out.
MOZA, which was founded in 2008 and is the only cement manufactory in Hungary, produces its tiles in a traditional handcrafted technology, which provides a wide range of colours and forms, therefore also satisfies special needs. The exciting design has made these long-forgotten tiles popular again. The manufactory has value-creating role as well. The products made from new combinations of materials, and by new solutions and innovations, respect traditions, hence insure that this craft will survive.
