Nadia Cavner is the president of financial consultancy the Nadia Cavner Group. In addition to her work, she has served on the board of trustees for the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks. The Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks specializes in providing financial assistance to uninsured women in the Southwest Missouri region. Recently, the group held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Joplin, Missouri, to celebrate the opening of its new offices at 7th Street and Byers.

 

The Joplin location represents the foundation’s first official home. Previously, Kristi Seibert, the foundation’s outreach director, provided her garage as headquarters whenever the foundation took on a challenging project. In addition to a number of ongoing events, the foundation is preparing for the Cycle for Life event on June 7 at James River Assembly.
