The
Behind the Curtain
Series

Combining art, design, and craftsmanship, Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg of Munich has crafted exquisite porcelain, known for its purity of form and entirely handmade process, since the mid-18th century. Collaborating with expert John Veldkamp, guest curator of Pronkjewails, the Groninger Museum presents the house’s magnificent creations alongside pieces from its own collection, fostering a compelling dialogue between past and present artistic endeavors. The exhibition is designed with curtains, concealing the unique porcelain from first glances and adding a touch of elegance and ambience to the overall presentation.

All images were photographed analogue on Kodak Vision 3 500T film.
