Ishin Japanese Dining is a ryori fine dining restaurant located in Klang. Specializing in kaiseki and sashimi, Ishin is looking for a fresh take on their brand identity that reflects their dedication to provide great Japanese fine dining experience.
The interior of the restaurant is inspired by zen philosophy, hence the symbol of zen, a circle drawn using bristle brush was incorporated into the design in the sketching process — keeping in mind that Ishin Japanese Dining's menu is heavily driven by fresh seafood.
Several other variations were derived from the selected sketch to be proposed to the client. Throughout the entire process, the "brush strokes" look was maintained.
Selected logos were mocked up on Ishin Japanese Dining's menu cover to test its effectiveness.
