How do you translate how our experience of travelling and infrastructure have changed since the advent of railways and motorways, and what that future holds, in one compelling image?

Such images were needed for the exhibition ‘Make Way’ at The Swedish Museum of Architecture, Stockholm. Ritator wanted to duplicate an image of modern travelling, namely, the side view of a moving car or train. By using the printing technique ‘iris printing’, a moving landscape is captured as colour fields, in a similar way as to how it appears when travelling at high speed. These prints, each of which is unique, were used on posters, invites and various other graphic material.
