Swedish Public Television – Sapmi Sessions 2013

In the TV show ‘Sapmi Sessions’ two artists had three days to make a hit in Sapmi Studio, located in a remote part of Sweden. Swedish Public Television required a giveaway, which would encourage singers to participate in the television programme. For this purpose, Ritator designed a scarf inspired by those worn by pilots during WWII, as well as A. Wainwright’s illustrations in ‘A Pictorial Guide to the Lakeland Fells’.

Illustrator Andreas Högberg was commissioned to draw a map of ‘things to do in Vassijavri’ in a similar style to Wainwright. And just like the scarves worn by World War Two pilots, this scarf allows its wearer to locate themselves in Vassijavri.
