A new editorial team motivated a second redesign of Sweden’s oldest art magazine Paletten. The second redesign was about reflecting the new team’s desire for more written content, without marginalising the images.

 

For this commission, Ritator developed a design that could meet the requirements of an image and a text heavy magazine. The result is a visually stimulating and beautiful magazine, where images and texts are allowed to shine in equal measure. The new Paletten was awarded ‘culture magazine of the year’ at Gothenburg’s Book Fair, 2012.
