Buxom, the younger/edgier sister brand of BareMinerals distributed exclusively through Sephora, had its roots in "Buxom Babes" — a series of retro inspired pin-up girls. With the launch of this foundation, the packaging was designed to reflect the sexiness of the "babes" (with the lingerie detail) and to appear more disruptive in-store, against the competitive landscape at Sephora.
