California Closets have been leader and innovators in the custom closet industry for over 3 decades now. This project focused on engaging their existing audience through enhanced mobile website experience, help customers find the nearest franchise or showroom, and to increase inbound calls and applications for a consultation.
I designed the entire UX and UI of the adaptive mobile website, built on Mobify framework.
Integrating drop-down navigation with many sub-categories has always been an issue when transferring a website to mobile experience. I tried to solve that issue with secondary navigation slide effect.
The client loved it!
Transferring a desktop website to mobile has it's own limitation. The website has to look and function consistently accross variety of OS and browsers. There are also limitations around the UI design, as the identity of the brand is already defined and I have to work within that frame.
