A project of RESIST (Resistance and Solidarity Against Agrochemical TNCs), the 2nd National Peasants-Scientists Conference requested for a fresh but direct icon.
It started as rough sketch of a microscope juxtaposed by a sickel to represent the two groups--farmers and scientists. The hexagon was a crucial element in the design, reprensenting unity and its relevance to the sciences.
It took at least 5 revisions before creating the final face of the activity. Shirts and mugs were part of the merchandise.
