Social Audio app where spontaneous conversations happen.
Stereo is a live audio streaming app that allows users to listen to other users' conversations live or start their own conversation to broadcast.
For this app I was asked to design and illustrate an avatar creator, where users could make unique avatars that provided a sense of individuality and personality.
Design system development: The challenge was to design a versatile system that was capable of creating characters with diversity, so that each person who created their avatar felt represented by it. To do this, I created a grid where multiple combinations can be made, colors can be changed, different types of eyes, mouth, nose, hair, beard, accessories and clothing can be chosen, providing users with the necessary tools to create a unique avatar.
Let's talk! Avatars represent how people on Stereo want to express themselves. They play a key role in the brand.
The street talking! Their implementation outside the app is simple and creative, their use is thoughtful and meaningful and shows the diversity of avatars, just as you see the diversity of people in the app.
