Branding Mas Vale Tarde

In 2016, I got the opportunity to redesign the talk show of the Chilean channel Mega "Más Vale Tarde". For the development of the visual image, the people of the program had very little time and budget (something a little common in this Chilean medium). They had a small studio for record, but with a large Led screen that we could use.

The program "Más Vale Tarde" is a night conversation space, where as time goes by different edges of the interviewee are touched, for the concept of design it seemed interesting to opt for simplicity in the form and rescue dynamically and playful the elements of the night, the cameras, the layers of information that an interviewee can present.

For that reason, I focused on the concept of "passing of time" as a key element to generate a dynamic logo throughout the TV program broadcast.

The main challenge of the visual identity was to create an element that would work independently as a logo and as a unifier of forms on the Led screen.

For this, I mix as an icon, the moon and the lens of a camera, trying to represent the night, the conversation and the television with a very simple and iconic element, conceptually the "capture of time"

The concept for the image was "the passage of time" I found it interesting to create a logo bug, which would take literally the time of the program, that as time ran out a kind of lunar eclipse with the logo would form.

Example of what it would look like the concept in the TV screen.

For the design of Led funds, the first thing was to generate a center where the logo was integrated and generate the visual effect of amplitude, thus making the studio look much bigger than it really was.

This is how the TV program was really seen finally, despite the short time it was a good challenge :)
