NAVAL TRADE GAME  UX/UI CONCEPT  


Problem to solve:


How to expose the Supply and Demand / Dynamic Value of trade goods around the world to the player? Highlighting that this might be a good or bad deal.


The goal and setting:

The goal was to create wireframes and document a Player Flow for a Trade Goods Vendor Screen which should include: 


Buy Flow
Sell Flow

This should include the player being able to control the number of items they can buy or sell.

General Item Information that should be exposed (via tooltip or similar): 

Item Name (example, Nutmeg)
Item Category (example, Trade Good)
Item Icon
Item Value
Item Weight
Item Description

All items such as weapons, consumables, armor, etc. would display this information along with contextual information key to their use. 
This task however is focused on how to display the contextual information of Trade Goods.
