Children's book (25x20cm - 28 pages), poster and augmented reality application
Bernard and Actinia is an educational children’s album project based on the theme of animal symbiosis explained through the love story between a romantic hermit crab and a courageous sea anemone. The story takes place in the beautiful waters of the tropical ocean where our heroes live surrounded by various colorful maritime species.
I was in charge of the creation and conception of all the illustrations and tiny animations, from the storyboard to the final render.

The book was originally accompanied by a poster and an augmented reality application which were all linked together through mini games containing scientific content and informations on the tropical waters and more broadly, the food chain and the place of all creatures, including man, in our ecosystem.
Therefore, my job was not only to tell the story of our two heroes which had to remain at the center of the illustrations but also to include in a playful way as many animal and plant species as possible to provide a wider spectrum of knowledge and more interactivity between the different media.
