This is a student project received the grand prize about 2015 Seoul IBSA World Games contest exhibit.
IBSA World Games
Since IBSA was founded in Paris in 1981, IBSA have been in a constant process of evolution to adapt to the ever-changing world of sports for the blind. IBSA is registered as a non-profit making, public interest body in Spain, and we are full members of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), where we are the legitimate representatives of sport for the blind.
Why Seoul?
South Korea is not a generous country to Paralympic, as yet. So, we can get the opportunity to improve the Strengthen the international position of the Republic of Korea Sports for the Disabled through the holding of IBSA Wordl Games. Also we can increase the phase of the international city Seoul of the Republic of Korea through this Championships to be held for the first time in Asia.
The Needs
This contest exhibit needs a emblem that harmony and unity to come together of non-disabled persons and persons with disabilities through sports and symbolism which can be public relations at home and abroad the Seoul in R.O.K, to communicate with the world.

The Emblem
First of all, I concentrated on the symbolism containing blind. I think that to blind, hand seems to be eyes.
And we use hands when we help someone. For these reasons, shape of hand becomes a motif representing eyes, harmony, help.
Secondly, to represent the sports that is a symbol of the challenge and overcome, I used the metaphor of runnig person and staris. Generally, It was represented by the state beyond the challenge of stair, the step of the running person to symbolize the sports.
Finally, I used the national flag of the Republic of Korea which can be a symbol of Seoul. Through colors of 'Taeguek' and shape of 'Geon, Gon, Gam, Ri', I made the emblem.
